Not that it really matters, but the Great State of Kansas is broke. There’s not enough money to make payrolls this month, and anyone who’s scheduled to get a state income tax refund is going to have to wait.
No problem. I haven’t gotten a state income tax refund for the better part of a decade, if not more.
Actually, I haven’t even figured my state income taxes yet, but it would be a miracle if I were to get any kind of a refund. So it looks like that trip to Sonic is going to have to wait a while. (Gee, thanks, Michelle, for making me hungry.)
Meanwhile, President Vanilli is getting ready to do to us all in Denver what Perry and Richie did to the Clutters a few miles down the road here in Sunflowerland. (Yeah, guess what movie’s on TCM right now.)
